Lidia Bobrova was born on 13 June, 1952 in Zabaikalsk (Russia). Her best known film is "Babusya" which earned her a special jury prize at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in 2003.
In 1983 finished the scenario faculty of the All-union state institute of cinematography. In 1990 finished the higher courses of scenario writers and producers. From 1995 works as the producer of film studio of «Lenfilm».
In 1997 Lidia Bobrova nominated on the bonus of «Nika» in a category «For the best producer work» for a film «V toy strane». But Pavel Chukhray won.
